Ordering Driving Histories in Utah

The Utah Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is in the process of releasing a new motor vehicle record (MVR) and Driver Monitoring Service. The new service ensures proper MVR compliance for all vendors, sub-vendors and customers. It also offers enhancements such as Medical Certification support for employers. In the transition process, the Utah DMV is requiring all vendors and their customers to register for a Utah Organization Identification Number or “ORG ID” and to select their desired Vendor.

What does this new requirement mean to you? To run MVR searches in Utah through our screening system, you will have to sign up at the Utah website. You will receive an activation email that you will use to complete your company’s registration. After you receive the approval email from the Utah DMV, you will need to log in to your account to identify your authorized vendors. When you complete this process, you will then need to provide your assigned ORG ID to your easyBackgrounds Client Advocate to complete setup in our system. You will then be able to order Utah MVR searches through our system.
