Thank you for taking time to explore our services and how we can support you through the background screening process. We understand this process is unfamiliar to most consumers, and is occurring at a time when many other events may be occurring for you. Our team is here to support you, first and foremost, and we look forward to addressing any questions you may have.
The following is an excerpt from our Core Values statement and describes how easyBackgrounds views our responsibility to you, the Consumer:

It is our responsibility, individually and collectively, to afford the Consumer all the protection he or she is granted under the law. And it is incumbent upon each of us to dedicate our time, attention and best efforts to the details of their lives, in a supportive and courteous manner.”
We welcome any opportunity to review questions or concerns you have about the process, access to personal information, and your rights. With that in mind, please consider the following:
- easyBackgrounds does not own or maintain its own database of criminal records. The only data we manage involves background screening orders placed by our clients. All criminal record information related to our customers’ orders are obtained from outside resources. We also do not resell criminal record information or any other data collected on behalf of our clients.
- Consumers have specific rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Click here to view a Summary of Rights.
- If you have been the subject of a consumer report ordered from easyBackgrounds, you may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (800) 538-6525 to request a copy.
- Once we have confirmed your identity, a copy will be forwarded to you right away.
Please note that if you choose to email us, please do not include personally identifiable or sensitive information, such as birth date or social security number, in your email. While our systems are secure, we all want to be certain that neither the sending nor receiving locations can compromise your information in any way.
